Grace for the whole story
Addiction may have begun in grief, trauma, loneliness, pressure, pain, or the search for acceptance. Whatever the beginning, no one is beyond the love and forgiveness of God. We believe every person has dignity, purpose, and the possibility of a new future.
A relationship, not a performance
The Christian message is not that people must clean themselves up before coming to God. It is that Jesus offers forgiveness as a gift. Spiritual growth then becomes a daily walk of reading the Bible, prayer, honesty, obedience, and community.

What we offer
RU is a free ministry of Florence Baptist Temple. Meetings include teaching, mentoring, small-group support, curriculum, and programs for children and teens. Professional medical treatment can also be an important part of recovery; RU does not replace emergency, detoxification, or clinical care.
