When you arrive
Use the Florence Baptist Temple entrance closest to Jordan’s Furniture Store. Look for RU signs near the doors. A volunteer will greet you, explain the evening, and help every member of your family find the right room.
Doors open at 6:45 PM on Fridays. Arriving a few minutes early gives us time to answer questions and introduce you to a few people before the meeting begins.
- No signup or registration
- No cost to attend
- Confidential, judgment-free support
- Nursery and age-appropriate programs available
The Friday night meeting
Friday’s main program follows a practical three-part format that RU calls “Talk, Talk, Talk.” Each part is about 40 minutes, with short breaks between sessions.
- First, we talk to God — prayer and voluntary stories of victory offer hope and encouragement.
- Second, we talk to each other — small groups provide accountability, support, and a place to share burdens or blessings.
- Third, God talks to us through the Bible — everyone comes together for practical teaching and curriculum.
Sunday morning
Our Sunday meeting begins at 9:15 AM and uses more of RU’s topical curriculum. Children and teens can join the age-appropriate Sunday groups already offered at FBT, and nursery care is available.
What should I bring?
Just bring yourself. You are welcome to bring a friend or family member for support. A Bible and notebook can be helpful, but neither is required for your first visit. Dress is casual.
If this is your first time, please do not leave before meeting your mentor. You will have someone in your corner from day one.
